1. General Provisions
Corry & O’Hare Vets LTD is a registered company in Northern Ireland (Company Number: NI662253). Our registered office is located at: 51 Gortin Road, Omagh, Co. Tyrone, BT79 7HZ.
2. Provision of Veterinary Services
-
Clinical Standards: We aim to provide the highest standard of veterinary care. Treatment is provided in accordance with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) Code of Professional Conduct.
-
Appointments: While we strive to adhere to appointment times, veterinary medicine is unpredictable. Emergency cases will always take priority, which may occasionally result in delays.
-
Home Visits: In certain circumstances, home visits may be arranged, but in most cases, the best care can be provided at our clinical facility where diagnostic equipment is available.
3. Fees and Payment
-
Pricing: All fees, diet, and medication prices are subject to VAT at the current rate. A detailed invoice is available for every consultation or procedure.
-
Settlement: Accounts are due for settlement at the end of the consultation or upon discharge of the pet.
-
Estimates: We are happy to provide a written estimate for the probable costs of treatment. Please note that estimates are approximate only, as a pet’s illness may not follow a predictable course.
4. Pet Insurance
It is the client’s responsibility to settle our account and then reclaim the fees from their insurance company. In specific circumstances, we may agree to a “Direct Claim,” but this must be pre-arranged with our management team.
5. Prescriptions and Medication
-
Prescriptions: You may obtain Relevant Veterinary Medicinal Products from us OR ask for a prescription and obtain these medicines from another veterinary surgeon or a pharmacy.
-
Repeat Prescriptions: Pets on long-term medication must be assessed by a vet at regular intervals (usually every 3-6 months) as required by law.
6. Emergency/Out-of-Hours Care
